Early Attack From SKE
AKB 28/64
SKE 20/64
NMB48 6/64
HKT 8/64
JKT 1/64
SNH 1/64
SKE might have managed to get the votes in first by having their top guns Rena and Jurina make it to the top 7. Notable people are Shibata Aya, Suda Akari and Kizaki Yuria making it to the top 16. Kaotan made it to 17th and Umemoto at #21. Makiko, Churi, Masana, Nishinishi and Matsurina round up the Under Girls.

Too Early to Celebrate for Sashihara, 1st Gen Hold Back
It could have been Sashihara’s big jump as she gets 28,563 pt after the 1st day. She would hope that it would continue until June 7th if she wants to bag the center for this single.
All 5 1st gen girls got pushed down as Tomochin at #14, Mariko at #15, Takamina at #18, Haruna at #20 and Miichan at #26.

Takajo Aki – Lesson Learned?
It seems to me that Akicha fans chose to skip voting today until the bulk of votes possibly from JKT wotas and her loyal Japanese fans. Last year, she ranked 13th in the preliminary only to land at 17th place in the official tally. Kasai Tomomi made a comeback by getting the 12th spot last year from 17th in the preliminary tally.

Watanabe Mayu’s Eagerness to take the Top Spot
She’s currently at 2nd place with a little over half of Sashihara’s votes. Only 885 votes separate her and Oshima Yuko who won the elections twice already. Is it a wise decision for her fans to take it head on or plan the next wave of votes?

The Rise of HKT48
Highlighted by Sashihara Rino’s current spot at number 1, 7 other HKT48 members ranked this year in the preliminaries. KKS Okamoto Naoko, Tomonaga Mio and Tashima Meru claim spots and would they be able to get a spot in the final tally? Moriyasu Madoka, Miyawaki Sakura, Ota Aika, Kodama Haruka are able to get spots too. Could this mean the rise of HKT48 and be more recognized?
